Outside Sales Representative - Decking and Fencing
New Holland, PA
- Sell decking, railing, and fencing to customers and build relationships with them.
- Prepare material takeoffs, create proposals, and develop a cold-calling list within the region.
- Attend industry events, represent the company, and travel locally to meet with clients.
- Maintain knowledge of building trends and serve as backup for inside sales reps during vacations or busy seasonal times.
- Earn a base salary plus commission in a down-to-earth, fun-loving, family-friendly work environment.
About the Job
Homestead Outdoor Products seeks a full-time Outside Sales & Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate has a sales background, general construction knowledge, and experience with decking and fencing.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of outside sales experience in construction or building is preferred.
- Outgoing: Enjoys connecting with people and building solid customer relationships.
- Self-Motivated: Goal-driven and able to work autonomously with a flexible schedule.
- Computer Savvy: Basic computer skills, proficient in MS Office 365 Suite, and experience with ERP or CRM software is helpful.
- Active: Able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
