Job Summary :
The Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for daily break-fix, troubleshooting, user support, as well as creating and updating documentation and processes to build, monitor, update, and decommission infrastructure systems. This mid-level role involves working with a range of systems, supporting projects, and ensuring infrastructure operates efficiently.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Drive problems to closure, preventing recurring issues.
- Update and create documentation for handling tickets and resolving issues.
- Maintain the daily operation of infrastructure and its systems.
- Handle project-related work for the infrastructure team.
- Travel to data centers for projects as needed.
- Provide escalation support and training for the NOC Team and junior-level administrators.
- Handle phone calls from customers, clients, and coworkers regarding infrastructure issues.
- Ensure adherence to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
