What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cable Maintenance Technician (Coax) position at Team Eminence LLC?
dentify and resolve issues within the subscriber drop, feeder/distribution, and trunk systems to maintain proper signal levels, picture quality, and compliance with all local, state, and federal standards and requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and correcting faults by adjusting, repairing, or replacing passive and active components.
- Detecting and addressing signal egress/ingress, performing sweep alignment, installations, system balance, and test point measurements, as well as conducting preliminary system proofs.
- Responding to and restoring signal outages in feeder/distribution and trunk systems during emergencies.
- Completing work assignments from subscriber service requests and technician follow-up tasks, including unresolved work orders.
- Conducting system audits and terminating unauthorized connections.
- Activating new plant systems and performing preliminary proofs of performance.
- Carrying out additional tasks as assigned or as necessary.
- Willingness to travel to other states as needed to cover staffing gaps.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.04 - $38.00 per hour
