Job Summary: Team Global is looking for an experienced Assembler to perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories. This role involves manual operations, fabrication, and assembly processes for aircraft structural parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine assembly tasks on aircraft structural and mechanical parts, subassemblies, and systems.
- Follow detailed work instructions and accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Operate and utilize conventional lathes, milling machines, precision measuring tools, and a range of power, pneumatic, and hand tools.
- Use software applications for internet navigation, email, and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Adhere to high standards of safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in aircraft assembly , with a proven ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret technical documents.
- Hands-on experience with aircraft structural parts fabrication and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in using conventional lathe, milling machines, and various precision measuring tools.
- Competency in using software applications including Microsoft Suite and other specialized computer tools.
- Strong communication skills, effective work ethic, and a sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to carry and lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Capable of performing physical activities such as climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, and standing.
- Experience working with high hazard chemicals and adhering to safety standards.
- Proficiency in handling high-impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting), drilling, reaming, filling, and installing fasteners.
