Receiving Clerk
COMPANY : HornerXpress South Florida, Inc.
REPORTS TO : Inventory Management Director
FLSA : Non-Exempt
HOURS : Full-time 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Position Summary
This position’s primary role is to set and schedule appointment dates and assure a proper workflow of the receiving department. The ideal candidate will have strong follow-up and organizational skills as well as being able to work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Set appointments for delivery to create proper flow through department
Offload trucks - pallets or boxes depending on type of freight incoming
Verify the Bill Of Lading for number of pieces delivered
KEY RESULT AREA #2 : Breakdown Pallets & Boxes
Cut wrapping and break down pallets / pieces so that process can begin
Locate packing slip which states the items and quantities shipped on the order
KEY RESULT AREA #3 : Match to Purchase Order
Print Receiving Document from system
Match physical quantity to packing slip and then match to the Receiving document
Receiving Document will be marked up with quantities, freight charges and sent to data entry
KEY RESULT AREA #4 : Label & Repackage
Special Order product will be labeled and segregated from stock inventory
Repackage stock items and notate bin locations on boxes for replenishment process
KEY RESULT AREA #5 : Warehouse
Product will be palletized, wrapped and moved to other warehouses for replenishment
Maintain organization, labeling, placement of product in Warehouse X
Rotate all chemical product upon receipt of new delivery in Warehouse X
Rotate all serialized product for order pulling in Warehouse X (Heat pumps and Heaters)
