Project ManagerGeneral Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of any specifically assigned project.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company / Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
- Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values
- Develops standard capabilities requirements aligned with project attributes
- Evaluates personnel against set project requirements
- Assists in sales presentations for project management capabilities
- Monitors the effectiveness of the project management process
- Ensures compliance with the project management process
- Participates in readiness review and lessons learned
- Manages the project gating process
- Assists Project Superintendents as necessary
- Provides training to Project Superintendents and other project related field personnel
- Responsible for successful performance of individual projects
- Develops resource requirements for projects
- Assists in development of estimates and proposals
- Identifies scope deviations for creation of change orders
- Identifies delays at a project level
- Ensures timesheets and job sheets are properly completed, approved and submitted
- Provides leadership at a project level
- Evaluates project performance of personnel
- Maintains strong customer relationship
- Ensures contract compliance
- Monitors cost and schedule against budget and baseline
- Ensures equipment is maintained while on the project
- Ensures personnel are properly trained and certified to perform the tasks they are assigned
