Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
- Create and manage tasks, milestones, and budgets within the project schedule.
- Identify project predecessor and dependent activities within the schedule
- Identify and create critical paths within the project schedule
- Integrate the schedule with the General Contractor’s schedule and deconflict schedule conflicts
- Track and update project progress, including hours worked towards tasks.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure schedules are adhered to and milestones are met.
- Assist in the scheduling of manpower for network cabling installation projects.
- Monitor and report on project performance, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide training and supervision to team members on the use of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and schedule changes.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards for network cabling installations.
Minimum Requirements
- Certification in Primavera P6 scheduling software or demonstrable experience using Primavera P6.
- Proven experience in project scheduling, particularly in large, mission-critical projects.
- Strong understanding of network cabling infrastructure, including fiber and copper cabling.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to train and supervise other individuals in scheduling tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A degree in project management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Pay Rate:
$90,000 - $150,000/year
