Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable motorcycle/powersports Service Advisor to join our high performing service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while providing exceptional service and support. This role requires a strong understanding of motorcycle /powersports repair processes and excellent communication skills to facilitate seamless interactions between customers and technicians.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their powersports service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services offered, brake repairs, tire services, brake flushes, coolant flushes and fuel services
- Schedule appointments for vehicle maintenance and repairs while managing the service calendar efficiently.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and effective communication regarding repair processes.
- Prepare estimates for services based on customer requests and vehicle assessments.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in motorcycle/powersports service.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in motorcycle/powersports diagnostics and repair processes.
- Familiarity with insurance claims is a plus.
- Excellent sales skills to promote additional services based on customer needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers.
