- Resolve and research patient complaints, suspend and unsuspend accounts as instructed.
- Research hospital complaints regarding billing and charges.
- Research accounts on the system, request charts as needed.
- Submit researched accounts for review.
- Forward complaints requiring clinical review.
- Adjust accounts after review and approval.
- Correspond with collection agencies to resolve billing issues.
- Communicate with clients and follow up on complaints.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months medical billing experience preferred.
- IDX-BAR experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
