TeamKCI is an industry leader in maintenance support for storage, switching, server and network technology. Founded in 1982, we have over 42 years of experience serving Fortune 1000 companies, SMBs and government agencies, from our headquarters in Hawthorne, NJ (20 mi from NYC) and London, England.
We are looking for sales professionals who have either: 1) sold IT maintenance services to large Enterprise accounts, or 2) worked for a major technology company such as IBM, NetApp, Cisco, EMC, HDS, Citrix, Brocade, F5, Extreme or other manufacturer.
Your duties will include: 1) making the initial customer contact, 2) briefly discussing the scope of our services, 3) schedule a follow-up appointment, 4) write a professional proposal (don’t worry, we’ll give you a template) and, 5) close business.
A professional telephone demeanor is required. You will need 1) clear speaking voice, 2) the ability to sound convincing with or without a script, 3) the dedication to “make as many calls as it takes” and, 4) good record keeping skills.
Having contacts at major Enterprise accounts is a huge plus.
We offer a guaranteed base salary plus a highly progressive commissions structure that increases as you build success throughout the year.
Benefits include: health coverage, yearly bonus based on performance and two weeks paid vacation (three weeks in the second year). Successful candidates will have the opportunity for promotion within our sales organization after two years of successful selling.
