Dispatcher Needed

SUMMARY

TeamOne Logistics has partnered with Holland Transfer Co and is seeking an organized and efficient Dispatcher to join our dynamic team in Statesville NC. Accountable for coordinating the movements of Drivers and trucks leaving and entering terminals. Responsible for customer service activities, procedures, and other daily tasks important to Dispatch’s success.

RESPONSIBILTIES

· Checking drivers in and out of terminals and transferring the trip records into company files.

o Track progress of drivers using Samsara and Check Calls.

o Maintain and Monitor BOL’s, trip sheets, Logs as well as preparing reports.

o Insuring detention, limper charges and other issues are in an efficient manner.

o Extensive knowledge of DOT Laws and Regulations.

o Communicating effectively and clearly to drivers.

· Knowledge of Software systems including Prophesy & PC Miler.

o Customer Billing and Driver Payroll

· Handling any requests and complaints from customers.

· Dispatch experience, scheduling, and computerized record keeping skills.

o Flexible availability to perform on-call duty as needed.

· Ability to negotiate carrier rates versus time of the year and seasonal conditions.

REQUIREMENTS

· At least two years of experience as a transportation dispatcher are preferred.

· Strong initiative to solve issues and resilience to overcome barriers

· PC skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe

· Strong oral and written communications skills

· Exceptional organizational skills and ability to set priorities

· Team player able to working in an open environment
