Payroll Manager:
Team One Employment Specialists, LLC is a temporary staffing agency who is seeking to hire an individual for an internal position as an Accounting/Payroll Supervisor. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, averaging 44-46 hours a week in the city of Encino.

We are looking for someone who is STRONG in computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel. You must have a minimum of 4 years’ accounting and payroll experience in a fast and changing environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with assisting other departments and all the areas in accounting and administration.
PROFICIENCY IN EXCEL IS A REQUIREMENT INCLUDING THE USE OF FORMULAS!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Primary support for the payroll specialists including but not limited to entering payroll, performing payroll audits and understanding all payroll laws for the state of California.
- Must be quick to adapt to different computer software and systems as Administration Support for our staffing software to eventually be able to teach it to our branches including creating procedures and instruction guides.
- General Accounting Duties – AR, AP, payroll data entry, payroll taxes, multiple reporting requirements, month end procedures, journal entries, and other accounting related duties.
- Creates/Manages all weekly reports for branches and internal accounting department.
- Audits/Reconciles reports - This includes but is not limited to payroll reports, accounting reports, ACA filings, wage & status changes and many more.
- Miscellaneous tasks for President of the company
- General office duties such as copying, filing, scanning, and organization of financial/payroll records and storage.
- Handle new projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Payroll experience is a MUST (5 years minimum)
- Must be comfortable with computer systems including administration areas.
- Microsoft Excel (2010 or 2013) proficiency is a MUST (Intermediate User ONLY must know formulas, complex editing and advanced formatting)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook (2010 or 2013) – use of tasks, calendars and files.
- Accounting experience handling audits, taxes and general accounting duties (4 years minimum)
- Knowledge of banking, and the analysis and reporting financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
