Duties & Responsibilities
- Compensation philosophy, programs and processes
- Benefits philosophy, frameworks, and processes
- External marketplace trends, providing expertise in competitive practice
- Identification of opportunities to strengthen competitiveness programs through networking with external international rewards professionals
- Ongoing, regular support to achieve prioritized business objectives
- Manage compensation programs, processes and analysis for business aligned groups:
- Job evaluations and survey matching
- Guiding through key annual processes of Annual Performance and Rewards and Competitive Reviews
- Lead the deployment of programs changes, including consulting with compensation program owners on any function specific nuances
- Partner with other COEs to bring reporting and analytics to life
- FLSA and other regulatory analysis
- Partner with Talent Solutions Consultants to provide guidance on complex internal job offers
- Provide business perspective and input to the Global Center of Excellence on business challenges, as well as for the design of Global Reward programs, policies, procedures, practices, systems, communications and reporting of key metrics
- Enhances foundation and understanding on international rewards programs to progress benchmarking and costing initiatives
- Executes actions related to oversight, governance and reviews of global benefit programs
- Owns the central inventory of benefit offerings by country; supports annual survey processes
- Owns benefit program analysis for all countries outside of U.S. and Canada (design reviews, costing, etc.)
- Partners with local HR teams and GAAT on benefit cost validation
- Project management for assigned projects
- Lead all aspects of assigned projects, including building work plans, engaging internal and external team members, prioritizing and assigning tasks, identifying and mitigating risks, and bringing projects to successful completion
- Collaborate across HR on programs, initiatives, and issue resolution
- Strong business acumen and experience with compensation programs (salary structures, job evaluations)
- Deep understanding of compensation practices and benefits programs outside of US
- Knowledgeable about all major aspects of compensation delivery, and familiar with compensation design principles for base pay and short- and long-term incentives
- Superior skills in quantitative analysis, including advanced skills in Excel, and other database tools
- Strong client relationship and presentation skills
- Drive for process management and improvement
- Working knowledge of all MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
- Strong project and process management skills
- Expertise in compensation principles, program design, communication, and implementation preferred
- Experience in benchmarking compensation and benefit programs outside of US preferred
- Experience providing support to one or more client groups and managing competing priorities preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
- Ability to work at and influence at all levels of the organization preferred
- Experience in Workday preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience (compensation and benefits programs)
- Advanced Degree (MBA, MA-HRIR)
- Certification in Human Resources such as a CCP, PHR, SPHR or GPHR
