Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
- Troubleshoot software applications for Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Set up, configure, and add all hardware.
- Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure including servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and troubleshoot DNS issues.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, computer networking, and firewall systems.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Previous experience in desktop support or related field is preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.70 - $25.00 per hour
