What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nature Program Coordinator position at Teamworks Adventure Camp - Westford?
Teamworks Adventure Camp in Westford, MA is looking to hire a nature counselor to join our team this summer. The ideal candidate will have a strong love for the outdoors and a desire to share that passion with children.
Duties:
- Lead nature-based activities (i.e. nature hikes, scavenger hunts, outdoor cooking, etc.)
- Teach campers about the environment and sustainability
- Foster a sense of wonder and curiosity for learning about nature
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers during outdoor activities
Experience:
- Previous experience teaching or working with children
- Background in nature or environmental training (i.e. Scouts, Outward Bound, etc.)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
