Job Description:
Round Rock ISD through - Contracted with Aramark & TeamWRX Staffing is seeking dedicated and reliable School Cafeteria Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food to students, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen and dining area, and adhering to all food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch to students and staff.
- Must be able to work in a School ISD environment with students/children/young adults.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to students and staff.
- Assist with special dietary needs and menu planning.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a passion for serving students and staff.
- Previous experience in food service or a cafeteria setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
