PROJECT MANAGER - COMMERICALIZATION - CARROLLTON, TX
OVERVIEW :
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of operational procedures, documenting processes, managing various projects to improve efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and tracking key business metrics across the organization. The role may have focused areas of responsibility based on the needs of the business
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Develop and Implement Procedures : Lead the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Document Processes : Oversee the documentation of all manufacturing processes, ensuring clear, accurate, and up-to-date records that facilitate training, compliance, and process improvement.
- Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation through completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Key Metrics Tracking : Identify, track, and analyze key performance metrics related to manufacturing processes, efficiency, product quality, and compliance. Use this data to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Work closely with production, quality assurance, R&D, and other departments to align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Compliance Management : Ensure that all procedures and processes comply with relevant food safety standards, such as FDA regulations, HACCP, and other industry guidelines.
- Training and Development : Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that staff are well-versed in new procedures and processes.
