SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - ATWATER, CA
- Salary Range = $110k to $120k
Support the plant's engineering vision by developing engineering solutions and managing project execution from the design and budgeting phase through commissioning and qualification that meets desired results. This position will require up to 75% travel (as needed).
Responsibilities
Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans with plant stakeholders; confer with management to achieve desired results.Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; complete technical studies; prepare cost estimates.Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculate time requirement; sequence project elements.Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.Confirm project performance by designing and conducting tests.Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan; scheduling changes; and recommending actions.Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommend actions.Interact daily with management and operations to interpret and represent their needs and requirements accordingly.Support food safety programs, quality standards, and legality of products manufactured in the facility. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering and seven to ten equivalent years of experience managing and solving engineering problems.Food Manufacturing experience and familiarity with process and packaging equipment capabilities are required.Strong quantitative and analytical skillsAbility to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel, suppliers, customers, and their representatives.Ability to work cross-functionally, convey complex issues, and maintain confidentiality.Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of working independently with little supervision.At Teasdale Latin Foods, our People Principles are all about Living LATIN.
