Tebo Dental is a well-established and privately-owned children & teen and orthodontic group with five locations just north of Atlanta, GA. The Manager in Training will complete several weeks of hands-on operational training in all positions/departments company-wide to demonstrate mastery of various skills. Throughout this process, we gain valuable insight into your ability to adapt and overcome challenges, which are crucial to any leadership role. Once training is complete, we will assess your fit for a leadership role by determining your readiness to gradually start assuming supervisory responsibilities within the practice. We are looking for serious candidates who are committed to this rigorous training process and are dedicated to doing what it takes to succeed in a performance-based path to increased responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Cross-train in multiple departments, including but not limited to, call center, check-in, check-out, insurance, clinical floor, etc.
- Cover front office positions and help on the clinical floor as needed
- Learn how to provide oversight of the daily operations of the practice and enforce office policies/protocols
- Oversee clinical staff on the delivery of quality dental care
- Complete opening and closing duties for the office
- Assist with managing and coordinating clinical and administrative staffing
- Oversee team member relations appropriately and ensure staff have the necessary resources and support for success
- Train and develop staff to meet performance standards
- Create challenges to keep the team motivated and inspired
- Respond timely to patient, doctor, and staff needs and inquiries
- Lead morning huddles and take initiative to coordinate other necessary meetings, huddles, trainings
- Handle patient-related Quality Control issues in person and/or over the phone
- Maintain facilities/equipment in accordance with hygiene, safety, and OSHA regulations
- Troubleshoot and/or follow up with IT issues and/or items that need repair to ensure timely resolution
- Handle and address patient surveys and/or reviews
- Assist with meeting production goals for the office
- Fill the schedule and help to increase the level of case acceptance with operative treatment
- Audit the schedule to ensure we are maximizing productivity and efficiency
- Assist with conducting interviews, evaluations, and meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of dental office experience is required
- Ability to travel between our office locations in Lilburn, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, Gainesville, and Cumming
- Available to work full-time between Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
