Accounting Manager

TEC Group is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our clients team in Carmel, Indiana. If you're looking to take the next step in your career we'd like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team, fostering collaboration and accuracy
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership to support strategic financial decisions
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, etc.)
