Key Qualifications : 1-2 years of relevant experience in operating numerical control machines. Swiss experience major PLUS

Location : Corona

Pay : $25.00-$27.00 Per Hour

Shift : [2nd Shift 3 : 00PM-11 : 30PM M-F] Will train with 1st Shift for 1 month

Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Numerical Control Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate numerical control machines to cut, shape, or form metal workpieces according to specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Collaborate with Setup / Operator to determine the machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpieces.
Operate machines, correctly removing and replacing workpieces in fixtures per setup instructions.
Monitor the flow of cutting fluids to ensure efficient operations.
Observe and listen to machine operations to detect malfunctions, including worn or damaged cutting tools.
Perform visual inspections of workpieces and notify the Setup / Operator of any discrepancies.
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Proficient in basic math; able to calculate figures such as percentages.

Strong reasoning ability : capable of applying common sense to carry out instructions furnished in various forms and dealing with problems involving multiple concrete variables.

Physical Demands :

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling, reach with arms, and communicate.

Frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
