We have an opportunity for an amazing Assistant Branch Manager in our East Chicago branch.

General responsibilities include:
I. Supervise Tellers and Member Service Representatives
- Educate branch staff
- Encourage and motivate staff
- Engage in team member professional development
- Maintain employee records
II. Foster and provide consistently superior Member Experience
- Acting manager in absence of the manager
- Answer phone, perform transactions, relay messages
- Resolve problems, research errors, make corrections
- Review loan applications and credit reports
- Approve or deny loans
- Certify as a Notary Public and Signature Guarantor
III. Prepare monthly reports
IV. Engage in ongoing Tech CU education and training opportunities
V. Home Equity Lending
VI. Branch Operations
- Ensure branch responsibilities are accomplished
- Compose daily schedules of station placement
- Prepare break and lunch schedules
- Accompany vault entry
- Cash drawer and key box security
- Open and close the branch
VII. All other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
Education Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Business or related field or equivalent professional training
Prior Experience:
- 2 years of management experience in a financial institution
- 2 years of consumer lending experience
- Notary Public is preferred
Skills/Ability:
- Ability to work well with members and employees, thorough knowledge of and experience in Teller and MSR/banker functions, leadership skills, ability to approve loan applications
- Proficient skill in operating PC with Windows OS
- Basic Excel knowledge
