TMB, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an Analytics Program Analyst to provide support to Program Executive Office (PEO) Ships.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Industrial Assessment Director.
- Configure reports in alignment to Tableau standards, requirements, and best practices.
- Build and maintain Tableau visual dashboards.
- Use information visualization to turn data into professionally designed dashboards.
- Build, develop, and maintain repeatable, accurate, and credible metrics, dashboards, and reports, to better integrate processes.
- Ensure dashboards and reports are configured correctly and meet the standards set by Tableau.
- Identify and leverage Tableau capabilities for specific dataset and use cases, assess data sources to optimize quality and accuracy of reporting output.
- Create analytic pipelines, handle analytical datasets, and use analytical instruments.
- Standardize client dashboards and reports across the program.
- Identify and implement improvements to optimize the intake, data validation, data analysis, and reporting processes.
- Prepare management reporting and presentation materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance by identifying trends and sources of variation.
- Develop required Tableau content reports and dashboards.
- Design and implement data models to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Understand, identify and effectively communicate risk, opportunities, and challenges.
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Design, develop, and update operational and performance metrics that measure the status of objectives and their impact.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources.
Qualifications
- Experience working on Reporting and Data Analytics design and development through Tableau.
- Knowledge of Ad Hoc Analysis, analysis documentation, analysis planning, and various analysis techniques and tools.
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for data tracking and analysis is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
- Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
