Essential Responsibilities
Recruiting:
- Source and identity mid to highly skilled technology professionals by using direct and indirect sourcing methods.
- Enthusiastically network and build relationships with prospects and applicants to create and sustain a pipeline to anticipate and meet future requests and business needs across IT.
- Build succinct and engaging job posts that are intuitive, free of jargon, attract a broad spectrum of talent (bias minimized), and are optimized for search.
- Adept at developing hiring profiles, sourcing, and interview strategies informed by regular interaction with business hiring managers and HR partners.
- Conducts in-depth talent screening; delivers timely, cost-effective, and quality candidates for consideration to the hiring team that meet both current and future talent needs.
- Creates a positive candidate experience that aligns with our employment brand, monitors feedback along the way, makes/recommends enhancements through projects in TA, and delivers feedback to leaders to raise awareness.
- ATS documentation and compliance with applicant activity and requisition details.
Consulting, Relationship Management and Collaboration:
- Supports functional areas to ensure recruiting activities support the agreed-upon talent and recruiting strategies.
- Collaborate with leaders during intake sessions to align on the role, build the ideal profile, develop a recruiting strategy (including diversity focus) that aligns with talent strategy, and equips the leader with a real-time market update to set appropriate expectations on the latest labor market conditions for the role.
- Following hire, provides a wrap-up on the successes or opportunities in the strategy, identifying areas for change for the next requisition.
- Builds and leverages relationships with HR partners to gain insights on organizational updates, share market trends/conditions, address employee and candidate perceptions through a view of internal feedback (employee experience surveys and other sources) and external feedback (Survale, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor).
- Plays an active and visible role in cross-department efforts to represent the employer brand, the candidate experience, and market conditions.
- Works collaboratively with all team members to integrate individual perspectives; provides encouragement and acknowledgment of others’ contributions and inputs.
Diversity & Inclusion Consulting:
- Impacts diversity of the organization through sourcing strategies, partnerships with the Regional Diversity Councils and ERGs, consulting with leaders on bias in selection processes, and a close partnership with HR to positively influence the development and movement of underrepresented talent.
Recruitment Marketing:
- Leverages recruitment marketing techniques and technology to develop sourcing strategy, uses campaign performance data to determine source and requisition effectiveness, and creates job postings that are engaging and built for search optimization.
- Champions the employer brand by ensuring the brand pillars are represented in: job descriptions, interactions with candidates both internal and external and at all levels, curates or creates content suitable for company social media sites, recruits brand ambassadors, and builds talent networks.
What would make us excited about you?
- 5 or more years proven experience as an IT Recruiter (corporate IT Recruiting experience preferred), recruiting and sourcing high volume talent (ideally at mid-to-large size tech companies and/or start-ups.
- Proven track record of engaging passive candidates, building diverse pipelines, and providing inclusive candidate experiences in a highly competitive market.
- Experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.), ATS (Workday preferred), MS Office, Office 365, and other progressive tools to support the talent team.
- Ability to handle different volumes of full life-cycle recruiting (source, prequalify, interview, assess, extend/negotiate offers, etc.) on a consistent basis.
- Passion for building and maintaining rapport with hiring teams.
- Familiarity with immigrant and nonimmigrant visas.
- Bachelors in Engineering; CS, MIS, CIS, or related experience.
- CDSP (Certified Diversity Sourcing Professional) Certification (preferred).
- CDR (AIRS) Certification (preferred).
