Job Title: Vice President, Garage Division
Base Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year
Commission: Percent of Divisional Net (determined quarterly from the P&L)
Position Overview:
As the Vice President of the Tech Painting Garage Division, you will be the driving force behind all sales and operations. You will lead this division, taking full responsibility for its success. Your primary focus will be on growing the division through sales and business development, managing its day-to-day operations, and ensuring financial health through effective leadership, planning, and execution. A self-motivated leader, you will oversee staff management, budgeting, sales strategies, and expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Division Leadership & Operations: Take full ownership of the Garage Division’s sales and operations, including overseeing the P&L, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Staff Management: Lead and manage the division's team, collaborating with HR to recruit, hire, and make staffing decisions.
- Culture Building: Establish and maintain a positive, high-performance culture within the division, fostering teamwork and motivating staff to achieve divisional goals.
- Financial Oversight: Review and set divisional financial goals, regularly assessing performance against the budget, and implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve revenue generation.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive sales, expand the customer base, and increase profitability.
- Cost Reduction & Efficiency: Continuously seek opportunities to lower operational costs while increasing sales efficiency and revenue.
- Strategic Expansion: Support division growth, which may include expanding to new locations or increasing market share in current territories. You will travel as necessary to other areas to support this effort.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the painting or construction industry.
- Strong experience in managing both sales and operations with a deep understanding of P&L management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in hiring, training, and motivating employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and expand business operations.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to drive results.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Compensation:
- Base salary range of $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience.
- Quarterly commission from divisional net profit.
