Job Title: Atlassian and Groovy Consultant

Duration: 12 month contract

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual for the position of Atlassian and Groovy and Java Specialist, with a particular focus on tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Tempo. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our project management and collaboration capabilities across the organization. You will work closely with various teams to streamline workflows, customize tools to meet specific needs, and ensure that our software development processes are efficient and aligned with best practices. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, especially in Groovy and Java, and is familiar with the Atlassian suite of products. You will be responsible for implementing solutions that leverage these tools and create a seamless experience for end-users. As part of this role, you will also provide support, training, and documentation to help teams fully utilize these platforms. Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Tempo to meet the needs of various teams.
• Develop and implement customized scripts in Groovy and Java for automation and improved functionality of Atlassian tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design workflows and processes that enhance team productivity.
• Provide training and support sessions to users on effective best practices for utilizing Jira and Confluence.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the Atlassian tools environment, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Work continuously to improve our CI/CD pipeline using Bamboo and provide relevant insights for optimization.
• Document processes, configurations, and custom scripts to create a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Tempo.
• Strong programming skills in Groovy and Java, with experience in scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirement
