Summary/Objective:
Tech Systems Inc. is seeking an Administrative Operations Coordinator for the USMC recruit uniform tailor and alterations account at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. The Administrative Operations Coordinator will facilitate the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing various operational, clerical, and administrative tasks.
Essential Functions:
· Collaborate with the Project Manager in project planning, operations, scheduling, and budgeting.
· Generate regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.
· Ensures strict adherence to all applicable policies and regulations.
· Provides policy and procedural direction to staff.
· Keep track of production during the day to ensure documentation is correct and complete.
· Act as a liaison between employees and supervision.
· Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
· Assist the Contract Officer Representative with inquiries in the absence of the Project Manager.
· Maintain at least two weeks of daily production forecasts based on standards of production, appointment schedule, known and projected recruit numbers, and time off requests.
· Draft and post a weekly work schedule.
· Complete employee attendance reports and make recommendations for time off requests.
· Enforce company policy and regulations.
· Perform any other duties as assigned.

· Experience preparing financial reports is preferred but not required.
· Knowledge of sewing and tailoring is a plus but not required.
· Must be able to pass a background check for installation access.
Work Environment:
· Monday through Friday, some weekends are required.
· No travel required.
· Must use proper personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
· Must be able to lift an armful of unfinished/finished fabric and materials; weight adjusted according to individual ability and comfort level.
Education and Experience:
· Three to five years of experience in a related role required with supervisory experience preferred.
· Proven management and leadership skills.
· Knowledge of production processes and productivity management.
· Proven problem-solving capability, experienced in production environment, and initiating and managing corrective action processes.
· Capable of developing teams and coordinating staff responsibilities and tasks.
· Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally internally and with customers and end users to ensure that implementation of services is geared towards customer satisfaction.
· Human Resource management in performance counseling, disciplinary actions and implementation of regulatory changes and updates.
