Leasing Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Leasing Manager to oversee leasing operations for a [200 unit] residential community. The ideal candidate will lead leasing efforts, manage resident relations, and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and retention. This role requires strong sales, customer service, and organizational skills to ensure a seamless leasing experience for prospective and current residents.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Sales Management

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Conduct property tours, showcase amenities, and promote community features to prospective tenants.
• Oversee the application and lease signing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor leasing trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to stay competitive.
• Implement marketing campaigns, including social media, digital advertising, and community outreach.

Resident Relations & Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Address resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Assist with lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
• Plan and coordinate resident engagement activities and events to enhance community satisfaction.

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate leasing reports, occupancy records, and resident files.
• Track leasing performance metrics, including occupancy rates and lease conversions.
• Work closely with the Property Manager to set rental rates and leasing incentives.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, leasing policies, and property management regulations.

Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise and train leasing consultants and staff to improve leasing performance.
• Set performance goals, provide coaching, and conduct regular team meetings.
• Develop and maintain a positive and motivated leasing team environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 years of leasing or property management experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of leasing strategies, Fair Housing laws, and market trends.
• Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Manager).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
