Position: Industrial HVAC Technician
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including high-capacity chillers, ultra-low refrigeration, cooling towers, and liquid pumping systems.
- Diagnose and repair package units, large tonnage systems, split systems, water source heat pumps, and built-up systems.
- Maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair commercial chiller cooling systems, chilled water pumps, and VFDs.
- Oversee HVAC-related repairs performed by outside contractors to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to HVAC emergencies, ensuring continued facility operations and production system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and company SOPs for facility operations.
- Research and apply local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized plant environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience in a manufacturing or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Experience working with specialized systems such as Daikin, Vilter, and Dunham Bush screw compressor systems.
- Proficiency in BMS (Building Management Systems) is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
