Responsibilities

  • De-escalations and restraints are handled by staff if necessary.
  • Combination of adult and adolescent patients, must float as needed.
  • 1 : 20 Nurse to patient ratios. Sometimes will have MT help, but not always.
  • Freestanding psych facility- no security

Requirements :

  • Requires 3 years of current psych hospital experience.
  • Need solid Psych LPN's.
  • CPI Preferred- if not, will do onsite.
  • Orientation is 2 classroom days, 2 floor days if CPI certified
  • If not CPI certified, orientation is 4 classroom days, 2 floor days

    • Exemptions Allowed : Yes, COVID and Flu exemptions allowed Medical or Religious.
