Position Summary:
We are seeking a Linux Engineer to support EDM application operations as a Tier 2 technical lead, while supervising a team of EDM technicians (Tier 1). The Technical Lead will create guidelines and SOPs, oversee escalated tickets, and provide training and mentorship to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between shift members, system engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and manage SOPs to ensure consistent troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Track and improve KPIs to enhance team performance.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and resolve escalated tickets.
- Coordinate with HQ EDM team for Tier 3 support when necessary.
- Conduct training sessions and drill tests to assess team readiness.
- Assist in policy and procedure improvements for better operational efficiency.
- Support management meetings, MBO evaluations, and reporting for senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in supporting/troubleshooting applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal).
- 5 years of experience with Linux OS (CentOS, Rocky, or RedHat).
- Strong expertise in server and application support.
- Experience in reporting and evaluation processes for senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Apache, Tomcat, or other middleware systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing system operations and preventive maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with experience resolving technical issues.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of networks, servers, applications, OS, databases, and MS Office.
