1. Quality Control Responsibilities:
a. Assume duties as Chief Inspector
b. Investigate warranties for approval/denial and draft a report for the customer
c. Perform the following inspections:
i. Incoming/Receiving
ii. In-Process
iii. Final
iv. Return to Service (FAA Order 8130.21H)
d. Audit maintenance documentation to ensure all maintenance actions are completed.
e. Provide technical assistance to technicians
f. Perform continuous measurements of inspectors’ proficiency
g. Research all requirements including technical data to perform self-evaluations on articles being added to capabilities list. Report changes to the capabilities list to the FSDO
h. Aid in maintaining digital library to ensure currency of technical data
i. Research all airworthiness directives and associated service bulletins required and ensure completion before returning articles to service
2. Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
a. Serve as the point of contact for all FAA-related activities. (i.e. inspections, communications, etc.)
b. Serve as the point of contact for all quality-related activities for our customers (i.e. quality escapes, warranties investigations, audits, etc.)
c. Draft and maintain the following process/procedures manuals related to the repair station:
i. RSM/QCM
ii. SMS Manual
iii. UK CAA Supplement
iv. EASA Supplement
v. Repair Station Training Manual (RSTM)
vi. C.A.S.E. procedures
d. Perform all necessary internal audits to satisfy FAA SMS, UK CAA, and EASA requirements
e. Maintain all risk assessments and corrective actions resulting from internal audit conclusions
f. Draft and maintain all repair station personnel/inspection rosters and update the FAA with all changes
g. Draft and maintain all employee summaries for those employees on the repair station rosters
h. Issue applicable repairman certificates
i. Maintain all inspection stamps and stamp roster
j. Maintain all subcontractor statuses through either on-site audits or mailed vendor surveys
k. Maintain an active list of all approved subcontractors and provide the local FSDO with all changes to the list
3. Training Program Manager Responsibilities:
a. Schedule/administer all required training as outlined in the RSTM
b. Draft and teach custom curriculum based off Aviocraft processes/procedures
c. Document and maintain all employee training records (Classroom and OJT)
d. Research new methods/types of training for employees
e. Perform/document repair station training assessments
f. Perform/document employee training assessments with the aid of the employee’s supervisor
4. Drug Enforcement Representative (DER):
a. Ensure new safety-sensitive employees are entered into Aviocraft’s drug testing program
b. Serve as point of contact for the drug testing facility
c. Ensure Aviocraft meets the random testing requirements
d. Maintain all files/documentation regarding testing per FAA/D.O.T. requirements
5. Qualifications:
a. Must have complete understanding of Part 145 requirements including but not limited to:
i. FAA Safety Management System
ii. EASA Maintenance Annex Guide
iii. UK CAA Maintenance Annex Guide
iv. Repair Station Training Requirements
v. C.A.S.E 1A Standard (as revised)
b. Working knowledge of Quantum Control ERP system is a plus
c. FAA A&P license a plus but must possess all documented experience and training to obtain an Aviocraft FAA Repairman Certificate at a minimum.

Pay: $84,068.00 - $90,611.00 per year
