GXP Analyst / IT Lab Support resource to provide IT support for Lab personnel
Location: Waukegan, IL
Duration: Through May 2027
Location: Onsite North Chicago, currently Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote
Client Notes
- Must be local to Waukegan and work onsite 3 days per week.
- 2 year project
- Required:
- Windows support and PC troubleshooting experience
- Must have 4 years of experience.
- Must have prior Desktop Support / Helpdesk / IT Support experience troubleshooting hardware/software.
- GxP Laboratory experience / experience with Lab instruments / 21 CFR Part 11
- Preferred:
- Software Validation experience is nice to have, not required.
- Experience with Data Integrity is highly preferred as they re dealing with sensitive data.
- Responsibilities: This resource will be troubleshooting lab instruments and their software along with the instruments corresponding PC s they re hooked up to. Some work will involve coordinating with the vendors of the instruments to troubleshoot equipment.
- This role will primarily be responsible for hardware and software troubleshooting of lab instruments in a GxP environment. This resource will need to document any changes, track/audit data flows, and be able to work with vendors for the hardware/software being supported in the lab. Some work will involve coordinating with the vendors of the instruments to troubleshoot equipment and order new parts to replace defective ones.

- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Assist With business case and elicit, analyze, arrange, translate, simplify business requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Good understanding of systems and engineering concepts, strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
- May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Performs routine troubleshooting for instrument connected PC s, maintains user account security, assists with instrument qualification activities, performs audit trail reviews and data integrity risk assessments. Responsible for annual account recertification activities and coordinating audit responses. Responsible for the entire lifecyle of instrument PC maintenance activities.
