Title: ERP IT Project Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid: 3-4 days on-site per week minimum)
Employment Type: Contract (12-18 months)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented ERP IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This is a critical project that will involve upgrading our accounting, billing, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex, multi-million-dollar ERP implementations, ideally with experience in Workday or Microsoft Dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage project resources, including budget, schedule, and team members.
- Lead project meetings, status reviews, and steering committee meetings.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, IT, operations) and external vendors.
- Manage communications and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Oversee the testing and implementation phases of the project.
- Provide post-implementation support and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project management at-scale.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar ERP implementations (Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Experience managing projects with external stakeholders/third parties within budget constraints.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Experience with SmartSheets and ServiceNow
- Healthcare industry experience
- Prior experience managing a full Workday implementation lifecycle (from conception to post-production)
Project Scope:
This project involves the selection, implementation, and integration of new accounting, billing, and FP&A systems. The company is considering Workday and Microsoft Dynamics, but may also select a complementary system to address specific needs.
