Full-Time IT Technician Position
SUMMARY
• Established in 2005, TechMate is an ever-evolving Managed IT Service company in Winter Haven, Florida. We provide on-site and remote IT support for small to medium sized businesses in the Central Florida area as well as remote IT support for cloud only clients across the United States. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a full time, detail oriented, highly motivated, dependable, organized, client-focused, experienced Level II help desk technician who is fluent with the latest technologies.
Duties/Responsibilities

• Great customer services skills, simplistic explanations to complex problems
• IT Support for technical issues involving Windows desktop & server OS
• Strong Microsoft 365 Support and Administration for Office 365 & Azure AD
• Intermediate understanding of LAN & WAN configurations for troubleshooting
• Understanding of user-based VPN connectivity for work from home solutions
• Understanding of VOIP phone solutions & implementation
• Quick initial response and completion of help desk tickets
• Communication with clients as required by email & phone
• Understanding of RMM platform, creating custom scripts, configuring service alerts
• Writing internal documentation and process documentation for clients
• Proficient with new technology and integrating systems
• Fast learner with ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Provide Support for Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Access Points
• Working with client vendors to resolve application related issues
• Procurement of computer systems, parts, and software solutions
• Understanding of Global DNS and Local DNS management
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Adaptable
Must Have Experience
• Microsoft 365 & Office 365 technologies and administration
• SharePoint Online setup, migration, and administration
• Hyper-V & VMWare virtualization
• Windows 7 and above
• Windows Server 2008 and above
Desired
• Office 365 Email migrations from various sources
• Remote Desktop Services, RemoteApp deployment
• Azure AD administration & implementation
• Microsoft Single Sign-on and Identity solutions for Azure AD Connect, Azure AD SSO/SAML, LDAP, etc
• Firewall experience for Sophos UTM & XG
• Managed network equipment for Ubiquiti
• Amazon Web Services for EC2 & VPC implementation
• Microsoft Teams setup & implementation
• Related certifications and training
• Previous MSP experience
• Local resident of Polk County
