Technical Product Delivery Director
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a product vision and strategy with stakeholders, considering customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap with clear short-term and long-term goals.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on user and stakeholder feedback.
- Plan and coordinate product releases with PM and development teams.
- Serve as a liaison between development teams, designers, and stakeholders to align on goals and priorities.
- Analyze user feedback and data for informed product improvements.
- Ensure product quality and alignment with vision through collaboration with QA.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure user requirements are met.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues in product development.
- Continuously improve product management processes for efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for innovation opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- 10 years in business and project management/analysis.
- Proficient in technology, software programming, and business units.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across multiple disciplines.
- Confident and enthusiastic in uncertain environments.
- Expert with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, wireframes, and process mapping.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with raw data analysis, database design, software development, and SQL.
- Product Owner certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience with UX/UI design principles.
- Background in service industries (Insurance, Banking, Financial) with emphasis on building specifications, scopes, and SOWs.
