Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced EH&S Lead/Manager to oversee Environmental Health & Safety operations at a 75,000 sqft facility, which includes a clean room, warehouse, and lab. The role involves conducting lab inspections, waste management rounds, chemical inventory audits, eye wash station checks, flagging investigations, and managing corrective action items (CAPA).
As part of a new facility construction project in Salt Lake City, the EH&S Lead/Manager will fill a vital leadership role, acting as the primary manager in the absence of the facilities manager, who is focused on the new facility.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in EH&S management within the Biopharma manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in program implementation, chemical inventory management, lab inspections, environmental & hazardous waste handling, and OSHA compliance.
- This is a 6-month on-site project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead EH&S initiatives for the facility, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, including labs, and manage corrective action items.
- Maintain chemical inventory, perform waste rounds, and oversee hazardous waste protocols.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
