About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Shared Services Specialist / HR Coordinator to support payroll processing, employee timekeeping, and HR administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring accurate payroll submissions and providing HR support to employees at all levels.
You will work on-site, Monday through Friday, assisting in HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement while maintaining strict confidentiality. If you have payroll experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for HR administration, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
Payroll & Timekeeping:
· Process and review bi-weekly payroll for accuracy in ADP.
· Verify and input manual time entries for misplaced or forgotten badges.
· Ensure employee schedules (hires, transfers, promotions) are updated in Workday.
· Manage leave approvals (Sedgwick) and accurately allocate PTO.
HR Support & Administration:
· Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
· Maintain employee attendance records and compliance reports.
· Support new hire orientation and onboarding.
· Assist with HR projects and reporting as needed.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
· Communicate HR policies and direct employees to the appropriate support teams.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
· Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accurate HR processes.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· 1 years of administrative experience (HR or payroll experience preferred).
· Strong understanding of timekeeping systems (ADP, Workday).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
· Flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as needed.
Work Environment & Schedule:
· Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (must be flexible to support night shifts when necessary).
· On-site role at a manufacturing facility.
· Exposure to machinery, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noise levels.
· May require standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions throughout the shift.
· PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) required in certain areas.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
