Job Description:
The Operator I is responsible for manufacturing high-quality medical devices within a controlled production environment. This role involves performing assembly, repair, and testing of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and other related medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow standardized procedures to complete routine manufacturing tasks under close supervision.
- Ensure job documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management in both written and verbal form.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with internal and external customers, including facility tours.
- Follow all safety protocols and utilize appropriate protective equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and quality.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability and quality assurance.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Work with supervisors to set and monitor individual and team performance metrics.
- Support company-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle small components.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
