Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop CAD models for interior trim components using CATIA V6
- Work on A-surface models and apply GD&T standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, manufacturing)
- Evaluate component quality, fit, finish, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support cost reduction and manufacturability improvements through data-driven design decisions
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in automotive interior CAD design
- Strong CATIA V6 modeling experience with a focus on precision and accuracy
- Knowledge of injection molding, wrapping, and material selection processes
- Experience with product launch and mold flow analysis
- Degree in Engineering or Design with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer-aided design principles
