We are seeking a self-motivated and customer-focused Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing technical assistance to client users via phone and email, as well as working with Microsoft cloud solutions for business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to user requests for technical assistance
- Working with Microsoft cloud solutions
- Diagnosing and resolving workstation and server hardware and software issues
- Performing routine server maintenance tasks, including backup/recovery testing, patch management, anti-malware cleanup and server log review on Microsoft servers
- Identifying and escalating situations requiring urgent attention
- Logging and tracking all help desk interactions into ticketing system
- Completing projects related to workstation and server configuration
- Creating documentation for internal standards and end-users
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5 years experience in customer-facing support with Windows desktops
- 5 years working with Windows servers, AD and Azure management
- Outstanding ability to work with customers, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Ability to time-manage and meet deadlines
- High integrity and consideration of confidentiality important
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
