Job Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated and technology-talented individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in customer-facing support with Windows desktops and 5 years working with Windows servers, AD, and Azure management.
Responsibilities
- Responding to user requests for technical assistance via phone and email
- Working with Microsoft cloud solutions for business
- Diagnosing and resolving workstation and server hardware and software issues
- Performing basic, routine server maintenance tasks, including backup/recovery testing, patch management, anti-malware cleanup, and server log review on Microsoft servers
- Identifying and escalating situations requiring urgent attention
- Logging and tracking all help desk interactions into ticketing systems
- Completing projects related to workstation and server configuration as assigned
- Creating documentation for internal standards and end-users
- Following standard procedures
Requirements
- 5 years experience in customer-facing support with Windows desktops
- 5 years working with Windows servers, AD, and Azure management
- Outstanding ability to work with customers, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Ability to time-manage and meet deadlines
- High integrity and consider confidentiality important
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
