Job Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated and technology-talented individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in customer-facing support with Windows desktops and 5 years working with Windows servers, AD, and Azure management.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to user requests for technical assistance via phone and email
  • Working with Microsoft cloud solutions for business
  • Diagnosing and resolving workstation and server hardware and software issues
  • Performing basic, routine server maintenance tasks, including backup/recovery testing, patch management, anti-malware cleanup, and server log review on Microsoft servers
  • Identifying and escalating situations requiring urgent attention
  • Logging and tracking all help desk interactions into ticketing systems
  • Completing projects related to workstation and server configuration as assigned
  • Creating documentation for internal standards and end-users
  • Following standard procedures

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in customer-facing support with Windows desktops
  • 5 years working with Windows servers, AD, and Azure management
  • Outstanding ability to work with customers, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Ability to time-manage and meet deadlines
  • High integrity and consider confidentiality important
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
