Job Description:
Project Manager, Customer Experience
The Project Manager, Customer Experience will oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of deployment projects within the Commercial HVAC strategic business unit. The successful candidate will ensure that deployments are completed on time, within budget, and meet the project objectives. The Project Manager, Customer Experience will also manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate with stakeholders, and provide regular project updates.
As a project manager assigned to multiple solution deployments, the Project Manager, Customer Experience will spend 80% of their time on the following:
- Support Commercial initiatives, which typically involve multiple manufacturing and sales office locations and a diverse cross-functional team
- Utilize the Solution Deployment Model standard process, which includes change management principles, to maximize employee adoption and usage of the new tools, while minimizing resistance and business disruption
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the Process Owner, Change Management Leader and relevant stakeholders.
- Plan, manage, and execute deployment projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones, deliverables, and resources, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project expectations, progress, and outcomes to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and proper understanding.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and field personnel, to ensure effective alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
The Project Manager, Customer Experience will spend 20% of their time on the following:
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to project management and deployment methodologies.
- Evaluate project outcomes and performance against established metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Work with Operational Excellence Team and Change Management Leader to incorporate continuous improvement learnings into toolkits and other resources that support project teams through effective deployments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support Process Owners on effective solution deployments utilizing the Equipment Order Management Value Stream Deployment Model
- Apply change management processes and tools to support adoption of the changes required for major initiatives
- Work with Deployment Process Owners and other subject matter experts to design, develop, and write program-related communications for all stakeholders
- Manage training session logistics including coordination of attendee lists, training dates and in-person logistics
- Work with subject matter experts to finalize process documentation and coordinate posting for stakeholders
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists within the company and on adjacent teams and roles
- Accountable for ensuring all elements of the deployment model are completed
- Collaborate with Change Management Leader and OpEx Team to maintain toolkits and other change management resources
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize activities, create project plans, and ensure that deadlines and milestones are met
- Problem Solving skills with the ability to identify challenges and lead improvement activity
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Operational Excellence/Lean Thinking approach to work
- Change management certification or designation is a bonus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
