Position Summary
Central Issue Facility (CIF) Supervisor for our Eagle Contract located at Fort Riley. Performs overall management and supervisory responsibility for the operation of the Central Issue Facility (CIF). Performs as supervisor for all aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to a depot level, or installation level supply activity. Work usually covers Table of Allowances 50 (TA-50) (Army-issued individual equipment) and must be capable of dealing in many commodity areas or functional areas in a planned customer support and priority based manner. Management is based in terms of priority completions, with concentration focused on the current and long term evaluation of the customer support mission, separate departmental managerial difficulties, and the complexity of performing in budget with limited manpower sources. Understands that the amount of responsibility delegation that is appropriate for each segment of operations is constantly evaluated based on mission completions and positive customer feedback. The work generally involves multiple case problems or supply actions resolution in a timely manner. This work may require consideration of several program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines, based on mission completion goals and objectives. Supervises daily supply operations and leads others in the performance of all tasks assigned to include the receipt, issuing, storing, and maintaining of all TA-50 at the Central Issue Facility (CIF).
Minimum Requirements :
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent civilian / military service schools graduations or prior supervisory experience (normally 4 plus years) to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks
- A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
- Must have computer competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and electronic timesheets (Costpoint / Deltek preferred)
- Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of systematic established guidelines
- Must have several years experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels
- Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using US Army LIS and computer automation equipment. Specifically, Installation Support Module (ISM)
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility
- Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, sleet and snow for a prolonged period of time Able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
- Capable of climbing and working on equipment at 10 feet above ground limit
- Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Valid state issued driver license
