What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Technician (temporary), Fort Bliss TX position at Technica LLC.?
- Works exclusively in a vehicle maintenance facility requisitioning repair parts and materials for equipment work orders using the Global Combat support System-Army (GCSS-A).
- Performs technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and etc.)
- Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, accounting, and supply reports to include shop stock, bench stock, demand analysis, ORILS, turn-in.
- Establish and maintain automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting.
- Correct error and exception documents.
- Process inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents.
- Assists Supervisor and/or Lead reconciling activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
- Process Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and track such materials until resolved.
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
- Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment as required.
- Prepares production report based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats and governing rules, regulations, and policies.
- Packs, crates, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies as required.
- Process requests and turn-in documents at sustainment level through warehousing section.
- Performs inventories and location surveys IAW established procedures.
- Retrieves and analyzes historical and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.
- Complies individual reports of current and projected work order status.
- Monitors each work order for prompt status changes. Informs Supervisor of any delays or unusual circumstances of work order requests.
- Assist within the department as directed by the Manager, Supervisor or Lead.
- Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as required.
- Performs other duties assigned.
- Must have hands-on experience with GCSS-Army; the ability to provide information, data, reports and requisition materials using GCSS-Army is required.
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of AESIP and Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) applications.
- Must have knowledge with documentations such as DA Forms 2404/5988E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2407
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
- Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills.
- 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
- Able to pick up and movement items within a 49 lbs. restriction.
- Capable of climbing and working on equipment at 10 feet above ground limit.
- Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Valid state issued driver license.
- Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 92A with motor pool operations.
