Public Works Group Manager

Based in Dallas, TX, this role will lead a team of talented engineers and drive business development efforts to support infrastructure projects for municipalities across the region.

About The Role

• Build and grow relationships with municipalities, cities, and counties while leading business development efforts in the public sector.
• Manage a team of engineers and oversee the development of construction plans, specifications, and budgets for drainage, roadway, and water utility projects.
• Support technical aspects of business development, including preparing RFP responses and presenting to local agencies and clients.
• Lead the regional practice for implementing EPA water standards and manage asset management programs for utility districts.
• Oversee quality assurance for all group deliverables and ensure that group processes are continually maintained and improved.
  
  

What They’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas.
• 10 years of experience in engineering design for public works projects, ideally municipal.
• Proven experience in managing teams and direct reports, with strong leadership and communication skills.
