Position Overview:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to coordinate daily activities of our onsite calibration lab within our customer’s manufacturing facility. This role requires strong administrative and organizational skills. The perfect candidate would eventually learn to calibrate and troubleshoot basic hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our clients' measurement instruments, with a keen eye for detail and strong customer and communication skills. This position will be in our client's location full time as an Onsite Technical Service (OTS).
Responsibilities:
- Issue and review calibration certificates and prepare technical reports and other documentation.
- Manage data entry and monitor orders.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot test equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
- Generate calibration reports and certificates, ensuring compliance.
- Assist with inventory control and customer service communication.
- Work with 3rd party vendors for quoting and scheduling
- Represent TMI in management level meetings, including quality audits
- Perform office duties, maintain lab cleanliness, support workflow, and additional assigned duties.
Requirements and Skills:
- Customer service, administrative assistant or data entry experience.
- Preferred experience calibrating and knowledge of mechanical, temperature, and physical/dimensional.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for team interaction and client collaboration.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
