Tech Professionals Group is seeking a skilled Durability Test Technician to join our team in Wittmann, AZ. As a key member of our durability testing services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and quality of production and pre-production vehicles.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in R&D durability testing and reporting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections, performing specialized test procedures, and documenting findings on reports in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle teardowns and perform detailed inspections to identify potential issues
- Document findings and create comprehensive reports
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to safely and efficiently complete vehicle teardowns
- Train and mentor junior technicians on vehicle teardowns and reporting
- Assist in the development and modification of templates in MS Excel relating to vehicle teardowns
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
Requirements
- 8 years' experience in R&D durability testing and reporting
- Middle Class proving ground driver's license required
- Experience with corrosion chamber setup, testing, and reporting a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to work cooperatively in a diverse and challenging environment
- Able to frequently lift and move around 30-50 lbs
