As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and enhance our operational processes.

Job Summary: The Director of Operations will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the company. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient processes, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in the commercial security systems industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering excellence in the installation, maintenance, and support of commercial security and fire alarm systems, ensuring optimized delivery and enhanced customer experience.
  • Meeting company revenue and profitability objectives. Regular review and reporting on installation and service delivery revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Accountable for safety in all aspects. Optimizing staff and resources to create and foster a safety-first culture.
  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the company is meeting service level objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align operational strategies with business objectives.
  • Responsible for oversight of all aspects of facility maintenance, including repairs, upkeep and preventative measures across organizations building and grounds.
  • Create and manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize operational costs.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies including but not limited to prevailing wage, OSHA, contractor/subcontractor relationships and recordkeeping.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the vehicle fleet. Plan and direct procurement, regular inspections, enforcement of vehicle safety protocols. Track usage to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure Operation’s compliance with company’s Information Security Policy.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Create and implement a strategic training program geared toward internal growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite and operational software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of commercial security and fire alarm systems and technologies required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
