As a Senior Piping Stress Engineer, you will contribute to delivering innovative solutions to real-world energy challenges.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in pipe stress analysis and optimization.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, evaluate, and enhance mechanical systems, components, and structures while considering various stress factors and mechanical properties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing pipe stress analysis methodologies using advanced engineering tools and software
- Leveraging technical expertise to lead and supervise project pipe stress engineers
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality piping components
- Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in pipe stress engineering, preferably in petrochemical, refinery, renewables or power generation projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CAESAR II, Intergraph SmartReview or Navisworks, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
